This is one of the most understated Spas in Vancouver! Who knew nestled into Yyoga's Dowtown Flow location was an elite Ayurvedic Spa! My masseuse was Camelia, who has been working with at Vida for 15 years, is extremely talented. You quickly know if you have a good masseuses and within minutes, I was already planning my next trip back as I melted into the warm, cozy massage table under her therapeutic hands. She quickly identified where I needed the most work and I knew she was not going to let me leave until she had restored suppleness to my tense neck and shoulders - nursing mama problems! The combination of Camelia's talents and the warm Pitta (my Dosha - which they determine prior to treatment) massage oil was truly a revitalizing experience. This, hands down, was the best spa treatment I have ever had. (Note: that an Ayurvedic massage consists of generous amounts of oil - three bottles - being applied during the massage process. It is a grounding and nourishing experience. You will need to shower after, again, three bottles of oil, but it is completely worth it.
