Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2018 Size: 8 ft Verified Purchase I purchased a thermal cover for my hot tub 3 years ago on amazon, we moved and left it with the new owners, went to re-order it for the new house, and couldnt find it but at this point, I am glad I couldnt! This cover is way thicker than the other one we had. We experienced savings on our electric bill of around $25/month during the cold Michigan winters using the thermal blanket on top of the water, our regular 6" hard top hot tub cover, and a protecting cover that goes over all of it. With this cover being much thicker, I can only assume it is going to retain heat BETTER than the cheaper, thinner one we had before. I cut it to fit, and already noticed my tub kicked off running the heater twice for over an hour each time now; it almost never kicked off prior to putting the thermal blanket on. Day 1 Face painting and hair braiding which my little girl loved and a trip to Starbucks at Jardin de Sports where we met Christy, a really lovely lady who went out of her way to make my little girl feel welcome. My little girl was also a little unsure about riding her new (bigger bike) and Christy said she could make her own Frappacino if she went on her bike and make up a little gift bag of sweets and chocolates for my little girl to take back to our villa, how lovely. Of course my little girl did ride her bike that night and every day since, she even mastered her brakes. A special thanks to Christy who my little girl is still talking about today:) Day 2 Baby Owls and Fairy Academy for my little girl and a Decleor Madagascan Ritual and Bare Escentuals make over for me at Aqua Sana, pure heaven. Afterwards we went to Starbucks and my little girl made her own drink and told how well she had done on her bike, she also informed me of her Fairy name, very cute. That night we had booked into the magical carvery at the Pancake House, the food was lovely and we each had a cocktail or two, my daughter obviously had the non-alcoholic version:) The staff were wonderful, however we were a little disappointed with the magician, firstly we had to wait for over an hour before we saw him at our table when other tables that had come in behind us had their magicians sometimes two of them and we only got one.
