The new buildings and pool look lovely although we are very happy to be staying in the wonderful room 425 (kindly upgraded! ) on the original site. The staff are very helpful and polite, especially in the restaurant where we always have amazing meals.
It truly is a beautiful rock! Getting there: Only Zest Air flies from Manila to Marinduque. The flight takes less than an hour. From Marinduque Airport, shuttles are provided by the resort. The ride takes approximately 30-45 minutes to the dock. From the dock, motorized rubberboats will ferry you to the island. The boat ride takes about 5-8 minutes. Lifevests are provided. NOTE: There's a possibility of getting wet during the boat ride so make sure that all of your electronic gadgets are wrapped in plastic (they provide plastic bags). Cleanliness The hotel was super clean all around, with the odd exception of the stuffed trash cans in the hall. My room was so spotless when I checked in that I felt like I was the first person to sleep there. I could see vacuum cleaner stripes on the living room chair and the rug. The common areas were clean too, with one exception: The trash can near the elevator was jammed with trash all the time. Perhaps guests didn't want to throw away garbage in their own rooms. Pool attendants picked up towels minutes after they were abandoned, and I saw no empty glasses or trash in other public areas. All-Inclusive / Food Only one casual restaurant on the grounds, but some of the best restaurants in Las Vegas are in the MGM Grand. The only restaurant at the Signaure is Delight, a casual spot for breakfast and lunch. Guests looking to eat out can quickly get to any one of the amazing restaurants in the attached MGM Grand complex. You will not go hungry, or be dissapointed.
